Fall is here and in full effect.... and if you're like me, you must be freezing! I've officially broken out my wool socks, boots AND started using the heater again. We are here and prepared to keep you warm and toasty this season in all the loveliest Fringe Vintage garb. Come get yours! 40% off everything in the store this weekend only! Don't miss it!
Erin doesn't live here anymore. I'm moving on and on and you can find me here: awakestop.blogspot.com from now on. I no write here no more folks. Thanks for your support! Keep shoppin! <3 fringe vintage open everyday
Catherine Ringer and Fred Chichin from Les Rita Mitsouko wear clothes like they're clothes, as opposed to something that belongs on a hanger. NYC is KILLING my love of the designer with its over-the-top industry pounding. There's a bit of mystery lost when we start to curate everything, don't you think? I'm rejecting it. There is no sophistication in clothes. Clothes are absurd; we only wear them to cover our nakedness. I've already posted two videos of these two vintage lovers, and if you haven't watched them yet then watch them now:
Hi all. Miss you. I would give you some amazing photos of NYC and the adorable cockroaches and one small mouse that I'm living with here, but I left the cord that connects the camera to the computer on the desk in the office at the shop in Portland. If you see Daniel could you please ask him to ship it to me?? Thnx. More to come. Meanwhile, go xoxo.
Le Modepass featured Fringe Vintage on their home page this week! Totally not surprised. We are rad.

Come see all the Best of Fringe Vintage on the RUNWAY at Scarlet: A Vintage Fashion Show & Vintage Car Show on Sunday Sept 20th at the Queen Anne Victorian Mansion. Doors open at 5.
Fringe Vintage lives in the belly of a whale somewhere out at sea, like Jonah. Never reliably at home in one apartment or another, it flits about like a mosquito after a porchlight. FV is simultaneously tired of the world the way it is, and eminently respectful; while we wait at our daughter's bedside, we yearn for a new day. FV is like a clock.
